A few words about Vas Gardiakos,
author of
The Smile Method – How to Avoid
Gum Surgery and Dentures
In 1981 Vasilios Gardiakos was diagnosed by his dentist to have periodontitis, an advanced form of gum disease. He was advised to have gum surgery. He had a strong feeling that cutting away the gum was not the correct thing to do. The Hippocratic concept “Physician, heal thy self” inspired him to look for an alternative. His desire to avoid the many costly office visits, the pain and the disfigurement that would make him look older, motivated him to conduct extensive research for a natural non-surgical treatment for periodontitis.
His twenty-three years of research has paid off. He is successfully treating his gum disease with a conservative program he calls “The Smile Method”. He shares this easy to follow program with the publication of his book, The Smile Method – How to Avoid Gum Surgery and Dentures so that it may put a SMILE on your face.

A Smile Is Contagious Like The Flu
A smile costs nothing, but gives so much in return.
It enriches those who give it.
It only takes but a moment, but the memory of it lasts forever.
No one is so rich or mighty that he or she can get along without it
and no one is so poor that he or she cannot be made richer by it.
A smile creates happiness in the home, promotes good will in business
and is the cornerstone of friendship.
It can perk up the weary, bring cheer to the discouraged,
sunshine to the sad and is nature’s best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed or stolen,
for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away.
When people are too tired to give you a smile, give them one of yours.
And always remember, it takes less muscles to smile
than to frown and doesn’t cause wrinkles
